Acting for Sodexo Prestige Hospitality, provide social marketing support and live event broadcasting in the lead up to, during and post the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, May 2010.
Raise awareness and engagement levels of potential and existing RHS Chelsea Flower Show hospitality customers using social communication techniques and live broadcasting from the show.
Creation of a twitter (@RHS_Hospitality) and facebook account to build a community and actively engage with Flower Show fans – focused around building excitement, conversations, sharing, gauging opinions and raising awareness. Throughout the event, facts, photos and videos were posted live – giving fans an exclusive sneaky peek behind the scenes and on the ground at the show.
A flickr account provided fans a constant stream of high quality photos.
A community of c500 new Chelsea Flower Show Hospitality ‘fans’, actively engaging in conversations around hospitality elements and the show itself. This will continue to be built on in the lead up to the next show in 2011.
